How to Open Account

RHB offers two types of Futures Trading accounts:

Offline Futures Trading Account

This type of account is suitable for you if you need the investment advice from your personal marketing officer who would also place an order on your behalf. However, you will receive Daily Research and investments tips sending to you every day via email and/or SMS.

Online Futures Trading Account

This type of account is right for you if you wish to enjoy a lower brokerage fee and prefer to make your own investment decision. You will be fully equipped with an RHB research and tools that we made available for you. With an internet connection, online trading with RHB OSK allows you to have more freedom as you can access into a real time price feed via SETTRADE and i2Trade trading platform(s) from your personal computer or mobile phone.

Off-line Futures Trading Account process:

Step 1:
Download the New Account Opening Form here.

Step 2:
Prepare the documents:

Your citizen ID card, or passport and work permit if you're an expatriate.
A copy of your house registration (not required for an expatriate).
Copies of financial documents such as copies of bank deposit books of three- month statement, copy of salary certificate, or copies of other financial documents of such as bonds, bills of exchange, promissory notes, etc.
A copy of the bank account (only the front page)

Power of Attorney(If any)
Two Specimen Signature Cards

Step 3:
3.1 Bring account opening form and supporting documents to RHB branches nearest to you. (see map)

3.2 Alternatively, you can mail all documents to:

Step 4:
Once received, our company dealer will contact you within 3-4 working days. A confirmation SMS will be sent to you once your account is approved.

In order to open an Online Trading account, you need to be an RHB account holder first.
Open an Offline Futures Trading Account with RHB (Click HERE)
A confirmation email will be sent to you once your online trading account is approved. Click on the URL link to go to th.rhbtradesmart.com You will be asked to login with your username, login password and new NRIC or passport number (this is the only time you will be asked for your NRIC or passport number).
Upon verification, you will be asked to create a trading PIN and then confirm it. This will allow you to trade online in accordance with the Trading and Payment Policies of RHB Securities Thailand.
